November 1 marked the launch of the 2022-2023 Annual Fund.
Annual Fund Chair and Silver Cluster parent Beth Pristaw opened this year’s campaign, saying, “This year the school is celebrating its 60th Anniversary! Milestone years like this one are an important reminder of the time and resources that the parents, administrators, and faculty before us have invested in Gaynor in order to make it the institution it is today. If we were to write a book encompassing the past 60 years, it would include thousands of pages of those who advanced Gaynor’s mission with support and generosity. When you participate in the Annual Fund you add a page to the Gaynor story and contribute to the collective effort to carry out the mission of the school. Our story isn’t complete without your participation.”
The Annual Fund is critical to the success of each academic year as it allows Gaynor to carry out its mission and address immediate needs. For example, this year, donations will allow the school to fund:
- Extensive and expert-led professional development
- Increases to the financial aid funds available
- Operational and capital enhancements to the school such as environmentally efficient improvements
