Evening Parent Talks

Coordinated by Dr. Lauren Levenson, Evening Parent Talks are an informal way for parents to discuss a variety of topics, and gain valuable information and resources. 

All meetings will be hosted virtually, with Zoom links sent out before the scheduled talk and posted on the Parent Portal.

2023-2024 Schedule:

• November 7, 2023 – Director of Technology and Operations Matthew LeWinter and the Technology Team will be partnering with the Psychology Team to present, Working Together to Support Digital Wellness

• January 17, 2024 – The Psychology Department will be collaborating with the Director of the Intermediate Division, Becca Felt, on What to Expect When You’re Expecting a Tweenager
  –
• February 13, 2024 – The Psychology Department will be collaborating with the Director of the Upper Division, Christine Karamanoglou, on What to Expect When Parenting a Teenager
  –
• February 27 and March 12, 2024 – The Psychology Department will be collaborating with Erica Kasindorf, Director of Placement and Coordinator of Student Advocacy, in a two-part workshop series, titled Empowering Students to Self-Advocate at Stephen Gaynor School

• May 14, 2024 – The Psychology Department will be collaborating with Ms. Erica Kasindorf and Ms. Elsie Andriamanantena from Gaynor’s Placement Office on Life After Gaynor: Navigating the School Placement Process
