Facility Rental

Stephen Gaynor School offers its premier facilities for rental in its two-building campus of 100,000 square feet located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Facilities are available for rent throughout the year for a variety of different purposes, including classes, sports programs and tournaments, performances, and meetings. Review spaces below and then complete the inquiry form to receive further information from the school.

Organizations that wish to rent Stephen Gaynor School’s facilities must abide by the following requirements:
  • Comply with all Facility Rental Guidelines established by the school
  • All rental dates are subject to availability
  • Minimum rental requirements: 2-hour minimum weekdays, 3-hour minimum weekends
  • Must provide the Business Office a valid Certificate of Insurance*

Gymnasium

Capacity: 100-150
Junior high school-sized gymnasium, which can be used as a multi-purpose space for sports activities, meetings, or events

Performing Arts Center

Capacity: Depending on setup, 300-350
Theater space seating nearly 300, with state-of-the-art control room and lighting system. Retractable seating allows for more flexible use of the space for events.

*INSURANCE AND INDEMNITY

The Licensee agrees to maintain the following insurance at its own cost and expense throughout the terms of this agreement, with insurers licensed to do business in the State of New York.

  1. Comprehensive General or Commercial General Liability Insurance not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000.00 in the aggregate.
  2. Umbrella Liability with a combined single limit of liability for $5,000,000.00 per occurrence and $5,000,000.00 in the aggregate.
  3. Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability Insurance covering each employee of the licensee with a limit of liability of not less than $500,000.00.
