
Parent Talks
Coordinated by Dr. Lauren Levenson, Parent Talks are an informal way for parents to discuss a variety of topics, and gain valuable information and resources.
Talks during the 2025-2026 academic year include:
- October 21: The Psychology Department will be presenting a brand new series, Emotionally Intelligent Parenting, Part 1, in the PAC at 8:30 am.
— - November 6: Director of Technology and Operations Matthew LeWinter and the Technology Team will be partnering with the Psychology Team for an in-person panel and workshop in the PAC at 8:15 am: Working Together to Support Digital Wellness.
— - November 12: The Director of the Lower Division, Donna Logue, and psychologist Dr. Lauren Levenson will be hosting Entering the Tween Years, Part Two in person for Yellow Cluster families from 8:30-9:30 am in the North Cafeteria.
— - February 26, 2026: Dr. Lauren Levenson will be collaborating with Erica Kasindorf, Director of Placement and Coordinator of Student Advocacy, in a presentation and student panel entitled: Understanding Learning Differences and Empowering Students and Families to Self-Advocate. The event will be held from 6:30-8:00 pm and will take place over Zoom.
— - March 10, 2026: The Psychology Department will be presenting Emotionally Intelligent Parenting, Part 2. The presentation and interactive workshop will take place in the PAC at 8:30 am.
— - May 6, 2026: The Psychology Department will be collaborating with Erica Kasindorf, Directory of Placement and Coordinator of Student Advocacy, and Gaynor’s Placement Office on, Life After Gaynor: Navigating the School Placement Process, via Zoom at 7:00 pm.
