On Friday, September 21, Gaynor Gators traveled to Demarest Farms in New Jersey for the annual apple picking trip. Students visited the pumpkin patch, picked apples, posed on the hood of a vintage truck and went on truck rides around the farm. We spoke with students about what they liked about the trip.

Sam: “I liked bonding with my classmates and seeing my old teachers.”
Andreas: “I enjoyed playing with my friends and picking apples.”
Sean: “I really enjoyed the bus trip.”
Joyce: “I really enjoyed going on the hay ride and seeing old friends.”
Kai: “I enjoyed playing on the old truck after lunch.”
Jonathan: “The trip was really fun!”
Billy: “I really enjoyed having my first field trip at the Stephen Gaynor School, and I’m excited for more to come.”
Odette: “When I climbed the tree to get everyone the perfect apple.”
Sebastian: “When we bought the treats in the store.”
Tom: “When we were getting on the hayride, someone left the ultimate apple and I got it!”
Max: “Sean and I put our heads through the face-in-hole photo props and acted like the characters.”
