Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Reading Approach
Who:
Reading teachers, special education teachers, speech pathologists, and anyone interested in learning more about teaching using the Orton-Gillingham Approach.
What:
A five-day training program introducing participants to the Orton-Gillingham multisensory reading approach and how it it used in the classroom. The course follows the curriculum and guidelines of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators. Orton-Gillingham is an instructional approach intended primarily for use with persons who have difficulty with reading, spelling, and writing of the sort associated with dyslexia.

Cost:
$800 per person, materials included. Certificate of completion will be awarded after successful fulfillment of course requirements.

Prerequisite:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
