Gaynor faculty and staff enjoyed a grab-and-go style breakfast this Wednesday thanks to the Parents’ Association.
Every year, the Faculty and Staff Appreciation Committee, which is part of the Parents’ Association, plans a Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week in May.
Traditionally during that week, faculty and staff would be given complimentary gifts such as massages, and participate in events, such as a potluck breakfast.
Due to the current pandemic, things have to look a little different this year. Keeping in mind the theme of “Thanking our Teachers” through a parent perspective, the Faculty and Staff Appreciation Committee has planned multiple “thank you’s” throughout the year, in addition to the longer Appreciation Week in May.
The first “thank you” event was this week’s Grab and Go Appreciation Breakfast. Every faculty and staff member received a bagged breakfast provided by Daily Provisions or Adina Bakes, water, and a coffee mug.
