Make an Immediate – and Lasting – Impact

One of the most important ways to support the Stephen Gaynor School is by giving to the Gaynor Fund, our annual fundraising campaign supported by current and past parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends.

The Gaynor Fund is essential to the fiscal health of our school. That’s because, as with most independent educational institutions, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating our students, and we rely on the generosity of caring individuals like you to make up the difference.

What Your Generosity Supports

The Gaynor Fund provides unrestricted support for the Stephen Gaynor School’s most immediate needs, such as:

• Financial aid – We believe that all students who would benefit from a Gaynor School education deserve one. Your contribution enables students to enroll regardless of their financial circumstances.
• Technology and innovation – Your generosity enables the development, research, and testing of new teaching technologies and methods. The purchase of SMART BoardsTM, for example, was made possible by Gaynor Fund donations.  
• Faculty salaries and development – Attracting the most talented teachers helps ensure the excellence of our programs. Providing faculty members with advancement opportunities helps ensure that they stay. Your support makes both possible.
• Giving back – Your gift supports our Community Learning Center, which offers an afterschool reading program to students outside our enrolled population for whom a private tutor is cost prohibitive.
• Maintenance and supplies – From maintaining a clean cafeteria and providing heat in the winter to purchasing library books, construction paper, and paint, your donation supplies the day-to-day essentials that make for healthy, happy, and well-rounded learners.
