Our head teachers hold graduate degrees in Special Education. Assistant Teachers are enrolled in Masters Degree Programs. 

The staff includes Language Clinicians, Reading Remediation Specialists, Math Remediation Specialists, Occupational Therapists and a Psychologist. Science, physical education, music, art, computer and library skills are taught by specialists in their fields. The Stephen Gaynor School is recognized by universities throughout the metropolitan area as a training institute. 

Conferences:
Parents have the opportunity to meet with teachers, clinicians, specialists and therapists three times during the school year. In addition, members of the teaching and administrative staff are available for conferences at any time. Children with learning differences may be more vulnerable emotionally and socially. Parents are encouraged to meet with our psychologist to discuss ways of dealing with these issues.
