Science classes encourage a spirit of inquiry. Scientific content and methods are taught through direct instruction. Science is a natural vehicle for multisensory teaching. Hands-on methods provide the tactile, kinesthetic and visual involvement that many of our students need for successful learning. Students learn to handle laboratory equipment and to develop the skills for carrying out experiments. Diagrams, pictures, models, videos, and computer images bring science to life.

Our curriculum includes physical science, earth science, astronomy, chemistry, life science, ecology, and human biology.
